{"id":11516,"date":"2024-11-15T17:22:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T16:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bio-pat.org\/?p=11516"},"modified":"2024-12-19T10:37:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:37:55","slug":"bio-pat-cooperation-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bio-pat.org\/en\/bio-pat-cooperation-workshop","title":{"rendered":"Bio-PAT: Cooperation Workshop &#038; 11th General Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:18px\">Bio-PAT: Cooperation Workshop &amp; 11<sup>th<\/sup> General Meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">On November 13, 2024 an internal workshop and a general meeting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bio-pat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bio-PAT e.V.<\/a> took place at the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tu.berlin\/en\/bioprocess\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Chair of Bioprocess Engineering- TU Berlin<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the workshop was to promote exchange among the members, to bundle competencies in the network, and thus to generate ideas for cooperations \/ research projects. Therefore, the members had time for intensive bilateral exchange with all participants for two topic blocks. Further, a discussion round for each topic block with all participants was conducted. Several ideas for cooperations were generated and will be followed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">At the general meeting, the board of the association was confirmed or elected. The board for the next two years consists of the following members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Chair of the board: Prof. Peter Neubauer &#8211; leader of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tu.berlin\/en\/bioprocess\" target=\"_blank\">Chair of Bioprocess Engineering &#8211; TU Berlin<\/a>.<\/li><li>1<sup>st <\/sup>deputy: J\u00f6rn Emmerich &#8211; CEO and Co-founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sopat.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SOPAT GmbH<\/a><\/li><li>NEW: 2<sup>nd<\/sup> deputy: Dr. Roland Hass &#8211; CEO and founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/pdw-analytics.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PDW Analytics GmbH<\/a><\/li><li>Treasurer: Thomas Grimm &#8211; CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animox.de\/?menuid=1&amp;getlang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ANiMOX GmbH<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We thank Dr. Joachim Venus &#8211; leader of the working group Bioconversion at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atb-potsdam.de\/en\/about-us\/areas-of-competence\/bioengineering\/bioconversion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ATB Potsdam<\/a> (retired) &#8211; for his contributions and committment as the second deputy for 4 years and the current board for their willingness to shape the future of the network Bio-PAT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further topics of the meeting were the report of recently passed events and actions of the network, the financial status, and the outlook for the following months. Also the current planning status of the Future Bioprocessing Center &#8211; an initiative of Prof. Neubauer &#8211; was shortly presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size
