(KIWI-biolab / Chair of Bioprocess Engineering\, TU Berlin) on 21.10.24 at 11:15 am in Studio 4 about „Demonstrating the capabilities of KIWI-Biolab’s robotic ecosystem by orchestration of model-mased DoEs and fast in-depth analytics for the development of recombinant protein processes.“ \n\n\n\nFurther\, Linda Schroedter (Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy\, working group Bioconversion) will talk on 23.10.24 at 2:00 pm in Studio 4 about „Fermentative production and purification of L-(+)-lactic acid: assessing the potential of tree and shrub species growing on marginal land.“ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the conference \n\n\n\nWelcome to the 14th ESBES Symposium\, which will be held from 21 to 23 October 2024 in Copenhagen\, Denmark.The conference venue for ESBES 2024 is DR Byen\, the headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation\, DR. DR Byen is easy to reach from central Copenhagen by Metro. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis symposium\, which is the 14th in the series\, offers a platform for biochemical engineering research and development\, and it has a tradition of attracting participants from both industry and academia. \n\n\n\nThe central topic for ESBES 2024 is ‘Biochemical engineering for the sustainable processes of the future’.  However\, the ESBES 2024 topics span broadly\, including biocatalysis\, biotechnology and metabolic engineering\, novel upstream and downstream process concepts\, bioenergy\, (bio)pharmaceutical processing\, bioprocesses for food engineering\, precision fermentation\, circular (Bio)Economy and processing\, digitalization\, advances in fluid and solids process engineering\, Industrial water and wastewater technology\, new (bio)materials for process engineering\, and education. \n\n\n\nImportant DatesDeadline for Abstract Submission: closedConference Programme Available: Mid of July 2024Deadline for Early Bird Registration: 28th of August 2024Deadline for Regular Registrations: 1st of October 2024 \n\n\n\nProgramSocial Program \n\n\n\nRegistrationThe registration fee structure is as follows:Earlybird regular registration is DKK 5\,250\, while the standard rate post-deadline will be DKK 6\,000. For PhD students\, an earlybird rate of DKK 3\,750 is available\, with the rate increasing to DKK 4\,500 after the earlybird deadline. Please note that the earlybird deadline is set for the 28th of August.
