There will be also a session „PAT for process insight\, improvement\, and automation“. \n\n\n\nYou can find Matthias Wiltfang and James Hope of BlueSens gas sensor GmbH / BlueSens Corporation – a Bio-PAT member – at Table 11-B. BlueSens provides gas analysis systems and components for bioprocesses and fermentation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgramScheduleWorkshopsExhibitors \n\n\n\nWelcome message from the organizers: \n\n\n\nWe are honored as program chairs to welcome you to RAFT 15 at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. This year gets us back on our regular schedule for RAFT\, after our off-year meeting last year. RAFT provides a unique forum for fermentation professionals from established multi-national organizations\, early-stage biotech companies\, and academia alike to learn about exciting new developments through the scientific sessions. But RAFT is not just a one-way stream of information. We have scheduled many opportunities for you to establish and grow your scientific and personal connections with one another during the poster sessions\, receptions\, banquet\, lunches\, and regular breaks. And we hope that the weather cooperates and lets us all enjoy all the warmth and fun that beautiful Naples has to offer. \n\n\n\nThere is so much that takes place behind the scenes in order to make meetings like RAFT successful. We are grateful to our tabletop exhibitors and sponsors for supporting RAFT. The SIMB team has worked tirelessly to organize the meeting and guide all of us throughout the process\, and RAFT 15 would not be possible without their outstanding work. Finally\, thanks are owed to the organizing committee and all the session conveners who have arranged our oral\, poster\, and roundtable sessions with speakers and their cutting-edge work. Be sure to thank them when you see them. Also\, please consider volunteering to get involved with RAFT 16\, scheduled for 2025. \n\n\n\nThis year’s program is filled with sessions covering a host of topics relevant to our field and the times. We are delighted to have Dr. Christopher Guske of D2 Biotech Consulting delivering the keynote address to get us started. Industry experts will join the roundtable to discuss how we in the fermentation space can help the world reach net zero in these increasingly extreme environmental times. In addition\, we have two poster sessions to round out the conference. \n\n\n\nVendors and service providers who support the research and production needs of our industry will be available for in-depth discussions about how they can support our work. Please be sure to visit the tabletop exhibits and attend the vendor showcase presentations during the breaks. \n\n\n\nWe are lucky to be holding RAFT 15 at the Naples Grande Beach Resort on the warm and sunny Gulf Coast. RAFT is first and foremost a scientific conference\, but we hope that you take full advantage of the location to take in the sun\, beach\, and all that Naples Grande Beach Resort has to offer. \n\n\n\nLast but certainly not least\, we would like to thank all of you who are attending RAFT 15.
