DESCRIPTION:Novel production routes and processes for bio-pharmaceuticals and industrial bioeconomy is the topic for the next Himmelfahrtstagung 2023\, the most important meeting for bioprocess and biochemical engineers in Germany. Submit your paper and join experts from industry\, universities and research organizations in discussing the latest scientific findings in bioprocess development. \n\n\n\nAlso two contributions from the Department of Bioprocess Engineering at the TU Berlin\, a member of the Bio-PAT Network\, will be given.Annina Kemmer will talk on 15.05.2023 at 16:00 about „Development of a modular computational framework tailored to high throughput mini-bioreactor systems“ in the session „New ways for producing biopharmaceuticals“.Theresa Menzel will talk on 16.05.2023 at 11:45 about „Optimizing microbial hydrolysis of biogenic residues in a plug-flow reactor“ in the session „Valorizing alternative carbon sources“. \n\n\n\nAt the Himmelfahrtstagung 2023 a closer look at Red and White Biotechnology will be taken and it will be discussed what the two disciplines have in common\, where they differ and what they can learn from each other.  \n\n\n\nMajor Topics will be: \n\n\n\nValorizing alternative carbon sources                                            Targeting next generation products                                                    Precision fermentationNew ways for producing biopharmaceuticals                  Smart combination of up- and downstream processing\n\n\n\nThe Himmelfahrtstagung also serves as a platform for young scientists to present their results to the scientific community. As such\, young researches are invited to submit their work to the committee for getting the chance of presentation\, irrespective of the topic of the conference. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCall for papers.
