DESCRIPTION:Himmelfahrtstagung on Bioprocess Engineering with BVT & BlueSens \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Bio-PAT members Chair of Bioprocess Engineering at Technische Universität Berlinand BlueSens gas sensor GmbH will be at the Himmelfahrtstagung on Bioprocess Engineering. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBlueSens will be amongst the exhibitors. Members of the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering will give presentations. \n\n\n\nThe “HIT” – Himmelfahrtstagung on Bioprocess Engineering is a well-established conference bringing together experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest developments and innovations.The meeting covers the complete range of topics related to bioprocess engineering\, including novel bioprocesses and pathways\, process innovation in upstream and downstream bioprocessing\, modeling & simulation\, enzyme and whole-cell catalysis as well as bioprocess solutions to achieve sustainable development goals.This single-strand conference gives all researchers the opportunity to showcase their work through talks\, poster pitches\, and intensive poster presentations offering fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the bioprocess engineering community. This year\, for the first time\, there will be 3-minutes poster pitches in order to give young researchers the opportunity to gain their first stage experience or to present projects that have just been started. \n\n\n\nMajor Topics will be: \n\n\n\nScaling in Up- and Downstream BioprocessesBioprocess Automation and Control Bioprocess Engineering in Food SciencesBioprocesses using Non-Platform OrganismsMetabolic Engineering meets Biochemical EngineeringOpen Topic (young researchers are encouraged to present their new\, unfinished\, recently started or planned work) \n\n\n\nDECHEMA Industrial Bioprocess AwardYoung scientists who have made industrially significant contributions to bioprocess engineering during their PhD thesis are invited to apply for the DECHEMA Industrial Bioprocess Award.The prize\, which will be offered for the seventh time\, comes with up to 5\,000 € prize money and be awarded as part of the Himmelfahrtstagung. \n\n\n\nCall for Last Minute PostersYou are cordially invited to contribute to the scientific programme with a poster.New work that is not yet completed\, recently started or in the planning stage can also be presented.This year\, for the first time\, there will be 3-minutes poster pitches in order to give young researchers the opportunity to gain their first stage experience or to present projects that have just been started.We are looking forward to receive your contributions from academia and industry for HIT2025 in the following topics: Scaling in Up- and Downstream Bioprocesses\, Bioprocess Automation and Control\, Bioprocess Engineering in Food Sciences\, Bioprocesses using Non-Platform Organisms\, Metabolic Engineering meets Biochemical Engineering\, Open Topic (young researchers are encouraged to present their new\, unfinished\, recently started or planned work).Deadline for a poster submission is 15 April 2025.Please prepare an abstract with 1-2 pages (incl. figures\, max. size 1 MB\, max. 2 pages). The abstract should explicitly mention objectives\, new results and conclusions or significance of the work.1.
