SUMMARY:Knick at SPS in Nürnberg - Smart Production Solutions
DESCRIPTION:Knick at SPS in Nürnberg – Smart Production Solutions: Bringing Automation to Life \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe SPS is the industry highlight of the automation sector and\, with its unique concept\, represents the complete spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions\, from what is feasible today to the vision of a comprehensively digitized industrial world. Hands-on. Visionary. Personal. \n\n\n\nVisit Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG – a Bio-PAT member – in hall 10.0\, booth 412. \n\n\n\nFurther\, Holger Blaak will give a presentation on November 15\, 10:30-10:50 am in hall 6 on „High-voltage measurement with functional safety (SIL 2 / SIL3 )“. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith the new P45000\, Knick offers the world’s first high voltage transducer for DC voltages up to 4500 V DC\, which is certified for use in SIL2 and in redundant use for SIL3 systems.  In his presentation\, he will explain the requirements that modern energy generation and storage processes place on direct current measurement.  The focus of the explanation will be on applications and safety advantages of Knick’s new series of high voltage transducer. The need to reduce CO2 emissions globally is driving the switch from fossil fuels to electrical energy in many areas. In principle\, many of the technologies used for this purpose work with DC voltages\, which are constantly being increased for reasons of efficiency. The components of such DC systems\, e.g. accumulators\, electrolyzers\, fuel cells\, etc.\, require robust and reliable measurement technology for safe operation. \n\n\n\nExhibition topicsBringing Automation to Life \n\n\n\nExperts on site will present the following topics: \n\n\n\nControl technologyIPCsElectric drive systems and componentsHuman-Machine-Interface devicesIndustrial communicationSoftware & IT in manufacturingInterface technologyMechanical infrastructureSensor technology and system solutions\n\n\n\nSpace is also allocated to exhibitors on the SPS site plan based on these main topics. \n\n\n\nExhibitor ListCall for Abstracts for Lecture Programme
