On December 14, 2022, Holger Müller of the BlueSens gas sensor GmbH gave a lecture in the course „industrial biotechnology“ at the chair of bioprocess engineering of Technische Universität Berlin.
He presented „Off-gas analysis as a multitool for bioprocess optimization“ showing the potential of off-gas analysis for fermentation monitoring and control as well as process optimization. Further, he gave insights into the powerful gas analysis technologies of BlueSens and their applications in research and industry.
This is a great example how industry can participate in teaching in the field of PAT, give students insights into practical and industrial applications beside the theoretical part and connect to the new employees of tomorrow!
