(Bio)Process Engineering – a Key to Sustainable Development (ProcessNet, DECHEMA-BioTechNet JT, ESBES)
September 12 ; 9:00 – September 15 ; 17:00
„(Bio)Process Engineering – a Key to Sustainable Development“ is a joint event of ProcessNet and DECHEMA-BioTechNet Jahrestagungen 2022 together with the 13th ESBES Symposium
Sustainability is the one dominating challenge today. Process engineering, chemical technology and biotechnology are key to solving it: By closing cycles, increasing efficiency, coupling sectors, and exploiting the potential of renewable resources, they ensure to meet the global need for food, mobility, housing, energy and medical care while at the same time protecting resources.
Researchers from industry and science will present developments and solutions on topics such as reaction engineering, energy generation and storage, bioprocesses, synthetic biology, education and many more.
Also members of the chair of bioprocess engineering at Technische Universität Berlin will present different topics:
13.09.2022 | 15:05 | Tolue Kheirkhah: „Controlling Aspergillus niger morphology in a rocking motion bioreactor: an alternative investigation platform for fungi“ (Topic: 02 Biotechnology)
13.05.2022 | 16:05 | Dr. Stefan Junne: „In line microscopy for exploring single-cell features in Yarrowia lipolytica cultivations during scale up and scale down„(Topic: 02 Biotechnology)
15.09.2022 | 10:30 | Marion Longis, Theresa Menzel: „Novel gradient-based monitoring for enhanced hydrolysis in plug-flow based dark fermentation“ (Topic: 04 Circular (Bio)Economy)
