Hellma CEO Lutz Mayer and his team recently visited the laboratories of Bioprocess Engineering at TU Berlin, including the KIWI-biolab.
During a guided laboratory tour led by Bio-PAT board chair Prof. Peter Neubauer, discussions focused on key challenges in bioprocess measurement, automation, and emerging technological developments. The exchange highlighted how industrial sensor expertise and academic research infrastructure can complement each other in practical applications.
This hands-on visit reflects Bio-PAT’s mission to connect member expertise with real laboratory environments and to foster collaboration that accelerates the development of applied solutions in process analytical technology.
